Bromley make their second longest trip of the National League season on Saturday when they travel up to Tyneside to face Gateshead at the International Athletics Stadium.
The Ravens go into the game buoyed by an impressive 2-0 win at Maidstone Utd on Tuesday night, which halted a poor run of results kept them within a couple of points of the play off spots.
Gateshead are in a state of flux at the moment with Manager Neil Aspin a target for the job at Port Vale and not taking the side for the game in midweek. The Heed drew 0-0 at AFC Fylde on Tuesday and have struggled for the last few games only winning one in nine and drawing six, leaving them sixteenth in the table.
Bromley manager Neil Smith was full of praise for his team and their defensive display at Maidstone along with the ability to strike on the counter attack, he also made a special mention for the fantastic support the club get at every away game.
Last season Bromley won the final game of the campaign 2-0 with a double from Louis Dennis and the pacey forward scored again on Tuesday night.
With the home side desperate to find form and The Ravens on a high, this will be an interesting encounter as both sides look to go into the break for the FA Cup with a positive result.
