Dover Athletic have announced that manager Nicky Forster and assistant boss Steve Brown have signed extended contracts with the club until May 2014.

Forster and Brown joined Dover Athletic in October following Martin Hayes’ departure and have seen a gradual upturn in fortunes that has seen them climb the league to within touching distance of a play-off place.

The two year extensions to Forster and Brown’s current deals with the Whites shows the faith Chairman Jim Parmenter has in the pair following the high profile departures of Andy Hessenthaler and Ian Hendon in recent seasons.

Forster has recently persuaded Tom Wynter and Terry Dixon to commit to the club whilst former Ebbsfleet United defender Ian Simpemba has signed for the next 18 months.
