Wigan’s former Tottenham and Wolves right-back, Nathan Byrne, is another player Robinson is interested in.
Byrne can also play further forward, and would be a natural replacement for Kevin Foley whose contract has expired.
Blackpool’s attacking midfielder, Brad Potts, is also thought to be wanted by Robinson. Potts is 22-years-old and was previously with Carlisle.
Jason Euell’s Under-23 side beat Southend 4-1 in a friendly at Sparrow Lane on Tuesday. Dan Bowry, Brandon Hanlan, Louis-Michel Yamfam and Regan Charles-Cook with a penalty, were the Addicks’ scorers.
Chelsea loanee, Jay Dasilva played the whole 90 minutes on the left side of midfield, and Belgian trialist, Alex Stollis, played for over an hour at left-back.
