Darts legend Andy Fordham has donated a dart board to Gillingham Ice Rink so Invicta Dynamos fans can get into the game.
The 53 year old from Dartford has been to a few Dynamos games this season when his busy schedule allows and was on hand to present the trophy as the Kent ice hockey team picked up the NIHL Southern Cup a few weeks ago.
Renowned for his generosity and eagerness to see more people get into playing darts, Andy, better known to his fans as The Viking, donated the board to go up in the bar at the Gillingham rink and manager Chris Hicks is delighted by the support given by the legend:
“I would firstly like to thank Andy Fordham for attending what was a fantastic evening for Silverblades Ice Rink Gillingham and The Dynamos.”
“His kind donation will definitely help increase the already new found interest in our recently developed Bar Blu.”
“It’s great to have a winning team under our roof at Silverblades Ice Rink Gillingham and we’re looking to work continuously with the Dynamos to help develop and continue the success the team brings to the Gillingham area”.
Fordham was joined by Dynamos main sponsor, Chris White, from White Associates as the presentation was made.
