The Gills match at Scunthorpe on Saturday along with all other matches in the Sky Bet Football League taking place this weekend (25th April – 27th April) will be preceded by a minute’s silence to mark the 30th Anniversary of the Bradford Fire Disaster in which 56 supporters lost their lives and hundreds more were injured.
The date coincides with Bradford City’s last home match of the season, when the club traditionally marks the anniversary of the disaster which occurred on 11th May 1985.

Welling United have confirmed the permanent appointment of Loui Fazakerley as first-team manager. The Wings have been speaking to Fazakerley regarding the role and agreement was reached at the end of the weekend.
Fazakerley, who has been in a caretaker capacity since the start of March, will be in charge at Park View Road next season, regardless of what division the club will be in, although obviously everyone in Kent hopes for a positive outcome this weekend against Southport.

The last tickets for Maidstone United’s final game in the Ryman Premier League against East Thurrock United sold out within two and a half hours.
The club has asked us to stress that the gates will open at the usual time of 12:30 on Saturday and there will be pre-match entertainment ahead of the 15:00 kick off.
If you were unable to get a ticket, gates will reopen for the end of season party, which starts at 17:00 and will finish at midnight.

Herne Bay are holding a draw to determine a new main shirt sponsor for their new First team kit being provided for the 2015-16 season. The “Sponsorship Prize Draw” is for local businesses and tickets for the draw priced at £ 200.00 each will be available until the 30th June 2015.

Faversham defender Ashley Brown will be presented with an award for reaching and surpassing 250 club appearances at Saturday’s final fixture of the regular Ryman South season at home to Walton Casuals.
Boss Ray Turner was full of praise for Brown, “Ashley is the first player to reach 250 games since the club reformed, and nobody in my opinion, is more deserving of this award recognising his achievement,” he said.
