There will be changes to the Gillingham side for this weekend’s trip to Fleetwood.
The Gills will be without goalkeeper Jonathan Bond, who picked up a groin problem in the first half of last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Charlton Athletic, so Stuart Nelson will come back into the starting line up.
Defender Ryan Jackson will be assessed after coming off late on with cramp, but is expected to play, while captain Josh Wright will be available again following his suspension along with centre back Deji Oshilaja.
Midfielder Scott Wagstaff has been out with a groin problem and will be given every opportunity to feature, but won’t be risked, while full-back Bradley Garmston has stepped up his rehabilitation after a knee problem.
Defender Aaron Morris (knee) and midfielder Lee Martin (ankle) both continue their recoveries with the latter set to resume light training and could be back in January.
Aaron Amadi-Holloway could be on the bench for Fleetwood against The Gills.
Boss Uwe Rosler thinks the striker is still some way off a start following a hamstring problem, but he played 60 minutes for the development squad in midweek and may earn a spot among the replacements.
Rosler confirmed Cian Bolger could be drafted into Fleetwood’s defence after his two centre-backs were roughed up by Millwall’s Steve Morison last weekend.
The Cod Army have scored in every league game so far this term and Rosler has hinted he is thinking about a return to a front three, having experimented with two up top of late.
For The Gills, the game represents a real chance to pull clear of the League One relegation zone, starting the game 18th, but only two points clear of the drop zone and only two points behind their opponents.
Defeat will pile more pressure on under fire manager Justin Edinburgh who knows he must get his side to start producing on the pitch and fast, otherwise they face the real risk of going into next weekend’s potential banana skin against Brackley Town in the FA Cup lacking confidence.
