After a two week break due to international matches, Charlton return to League One action at Fleetwood on Saturday.
It will be the Addicks’ first trip to Highbury – the one in Fleetwood anyway – and fans who like to visit new grounds, may be tempted to make the 530 mile round trip.
The Cod Army have made a solid start under new manager Uwe Rosler, and currently sit third in the table.
They have won three and drawn two of their six league fixtures so far, their only defeat coming at league leaders Bolton.
David Ball gave Rosler’s team a half-time lead at the Macron, but Gary Madine equalised soon after the restart, and Josh Vela snatched a late winner for Phil Parkinson’s side.
At Highbury, Fleetwood have beaten Oxford and Coventry, and drawn with Scunthorpe. They came close to being relegated last season, but Rosler has the team better organised this time around.
The Cod Army are also currently enjoying ‘new manager bounce’, and their fans will be hoping it continues for a while yet.
Russell Slade will be keeping his fingers crossed that his international trio return unscathed.
England’s Under-20 team lost 2-1 to Brazil at Kidderminster on Sunday. The two teams agreed to stage a penalty shoot-out after the game, regardless of the score.
The Brazilians won 3-2, with one of England’s successful spot-kicks coming from Ademola Lookman. The youngster fooled the keeper with a cheeky, Paolo di Canio type chipped penalty.
Josh Magennis added a different dimension to Northern Ireland’s attack when he came on in Prague against the Czech Republic. Magennis helped his side to a creditable 0-0 draw.
Jordan Botaka was expected to be involved in DR Congo’s African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Central African Republic on Sunday.
