A change to the originally-published fixture list will see King’s Lynn Young Stars now visit Central Park in a National League [NL] match on Monday May 15th.
This replaces the previously scheduled match on that date which was due to be against the Belle Vue/Coventry combined side. To date no riders have been announced for this, the 12th side competing in the 2017 NL; and with that uncertainty (compounded of course now by the sad news that Coventry are not to compete in the Premiership and seemingly have no prospect of returning to their Brandon Stadium home of nearly 90 years or finding an alternative venue in 2017) it was felt that a later date in the fixture list would be more suitable.
Kent are very appreciate of the King’s Lynn management for agreeing to swap their original September date and visit on May 15th instead, on what will actually be the SLYDE-sponsored Kings’ second home NL fixture of the new campaign.
Meanwhile the fixture the week before at Central Park (May 8th.) is reverting back to being the annual Invicta Pairs – with more details to follow.
