A group of the members have donated £20 each to have their names included on a shirt logo featuring MyFC. The names of the individual members go around the MyFC logo in a circular fashion.
The deal was completed just before Christmas and the club received a second boost as many of the individual sponsors purchased a replica shirt from the EUFC Club Online Shop.
MyFC Society Board Chairman Keith Handley commented ” The whole process from idea , fund raising to delivery was completed in a very short space of time just before Christmas by good cooperation between the Club, the Society and shirt manufacturers Jako. The Society were delighted to get involved in this and we look forward to seeing the players wearing the shirts at an away game in the near future.”
“It is hoped that the idea can be revisited in 2013-24 for further member deals and the possibility has been raised to do something similar involving small businesses in the Gravesham area. If any are interested in such a potential idea, we would be pleased to hear from them. ”
In a smaller deal, another group of members have collectively got together to sponsor the corner flags at Stonebridge Road, whilst members from North America are working on sponsoring a future home game.
The Society would like to thank the EUFC Commercial Manager Neil Barrett , who is currently working on a Sportsman’s Dinner with ex West Ham United’s Tony Gale on Jan 18th, for his help in putting these deals together.
