This evening saw the draw for the first round of the 2017/18 FA Cup draw and it has served some interesting looking ties for Kent’s sides. 

There are home draws for Gillingham and Dartford, and Ebbsfleet should they get through their replay this week against East Thurrock United. The plumb draw for the Kent sides is most definitely for Dartford who will welcome League Two Swindon Town, who are currently one place outside the playoff zone.

Gillingham who got their second win of the season last weekend, will either host National League sides Dagenham & Redbridge or Leyton Orient. Whilst they will be favourites for the game, they will be well aware that this is a potential ‘giant’ killing game.
