Charlton have secured an extra 630 tickets for the game against Northampton on 4 March, and will again be laying on free coach travel to the game.
Normally, away fans are allocated 800 tickets behind the goal, so the Addicks additional allocation will be along the side of the pitch.
Manager, Karl Robinson, has been impressed with the club’s travelling support and had this to say:
“The support the team have received since I joined the club has been fantastic and up at Bolton a couple of weeks ago the fans were brilliant.
“They gave us so much encouragement and played a big part in helping us to record an important victory in difficult circumstances.
“Hopefully with the free travel put on, we can get big followings at Rochdale and Northampton and get a few more good away performances to make the fans’ journeys worthwhile.”
The additional allocation should mean that all fans who want to attend the match will be able to get a ticket.
