It’s the play-off Quarter Finals for American Football team, the Kent Exiles this weekend.
For the second season running Kent Exiles American Football Team have reached the play offs and following a superb 8-2 season, which saw them finish second in their division and fourth nationally, they now face Doncaster Mustangs at home on Sunday afternoon in Quarter Final.
The Mustangs travel down from Yorkshire with a 7-3 record having finished runners up in the Midland Division, which sets up what will be a close fought encounter for a semi final spot.
The Exiles won their last rgular season game 45-36 at Solent Thrashers last weekend and will hopefully take this momentum into the post season with the eventual goal being Britbowl.
The game takes place at Beaverwood Sports Club in Chislehurst, kicking off at 2:30pm. Entry is £3 and free for under 14’s. There will be the usual bar, barbecue, merchandise stand and play by play calls. Come down and cheer The Kent Exiles on.
With The Junior side having another great season and the club launching a women’s side next year, The Exiles go from strength to strength in their 26th year.
