‘Great that the changes we made really improved the car. I felt I could have got a little more out of my new-tyre run, and there’s definitely more we can find in the car’s set-up, so we are all really, really pleased to have set that time’ said Hill.
With several of the team and Hill’s 2019 partners attending, along with guests from team-mate Mark Blundell, Trade Price Cars Racing’s owner Dan Kirby was delighted with how things went both on and off track.
‘We started the day with the great news that Oodle Car Finance have joined us a title sponsors for Jake’s car, so we are really looking forward to working with everyone there over the season. To see Jake in the top-ten, and the way Mark gone too is really encouraging for us all. We had lots of guests joining us, so a big thank you to everyone for coming along.’
The team will focus on preparing for the opening weekend of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship – also at Brands Hatch – in just over a week on 6th/7th April, on what is a home race for Hill and the Essex-based team.
“Living in Goudhurst and working here as an Instructor at the racing school many times, this really is home for me. We will have lots of guests, friends and family here, and having Won the Independant’s category last year here, I would love to do more of the same. Can’t wait!’
