Erith Stadium hosts a South Eastern Counties Football League match when Erith Town entertain Hollands & Blair on Wednesday evening kicking off at 19:30.
On Saturday the Dockers’ Kent F.A. Senior Trophy campaign ended in a one-nil semi-final defeat at Deal Town. However, despite an injury crisis, Adam Woodward’s team have picked up nine points out of nine from three hard fought one goal victories since they were knocked out of the F.A. Vase at Bridgewater on penalties.
Their first one was a one-nil Wednesday evening game at home to Lordswood before following up with a similar score at Holmesdale on the following Saturday.
Last Wednesday, they held off Sutton Athletic to beat them two-one with all the goals scored in the first half.
For Scott Porter’s Hollands & Blair this will be their sixth consecutive league and cup game on the road with three wins and two draws recorded in the first five. They are undefeated since losing at home to Erith and Belvedere at the start of January.
They visited Fisher on Saturday and went ahead through Harry Brown in the third minute. Isaac Thompson restored parity eight minutes before the break but Harvey Welford put the visitors back ahead just after the hour mark. Thompson ensured that the honours would be shared when he equalised again eight minutes later.
When Erith visited Martyn Grove back in October, they completed a come from behind victory.
Blair went ahead in just the second minute through Tom Walmsley. Seven second half minutes had passed before Erith levelled through Tola Odedoyin. There was no further scoring until five minutes from time when Alfie Eldridge scored the winner.
Depending on other results, should the Dockers win, they could go second whilst a victory for Hollands & Blair could take them into the top half so neither side should be lacking in motivation.
