Midweek football takes place in Welling in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division on Tuesday evening when Erith and Belvedere host Punjab United.

After a season in the Isthmian South East Division, the Deres are now back in the SCEFL, and have settled in with two wins, two draws and a defeat. They have only played twice at home this season, beating Fisher two-one and drawing nil-nil with VCD Athletic.

On Saturday, they suffered their first league defeat of the campaign at Holmesdale. They were ahead at the break through Freddie Baker’s second goal of the season. However, Lewis Heywood-Oriogun and Mecca Samuels were both on target in the second half as the Dalers took the spoils.

Also on eight points are Punjab, however they have played a game fewer. Away from home they have won one-nil at Fisher and drawn one-all with Corinthian.

They were in F.A. Cup action on Saturday, again playing Corinthian, but this time at home. The game appeared to be heading for a replay until James Billings won it for the visitors eleven minutes from time.

Both teams will be looking to bounce back and with some familiar faces returning to Park View Road in the Punjab side, it should be a competitive encounter.
