On Good Friday Erith and Belvedere host Erith Town in an Easter derby at Park View Road.
Although the honours will be decided elsewhere, the two teams will want to take the bragging rights into the summer.
However, it’s not just football that will be providing entertainment. The Deres are making it a special family Easter party. The game will kick off at 3pm KO but the gates open at Midday.
Entertainment includes a free Easter Egg hunt for kids with prizes, an arts and craft table, a bouncy castle and much more. After the game, there will be a live show in the bar with Krystal Scarlet performing.
Luke Rooney has taken the Erith and Belvedere’s manager post for the remaining games after Danny Murphy and Marlon Patterson were sacked when the Deres shipped in ten at free scoring Chatham Town. They are in sixth place, six points ahead of their local rivals one place behind.
Adam Woodward’s team have dropped off recently, having not won in four but they have had a good season and have brought a lot of players through from their under eighteens with several teenagers making their mark in the first team.
With good weather forecast, both teams keen to win and lots going on off the pitch, there should be something for everyone.
