England’s best table tennis players are coming to Gillingham for a crucial European Championships qualifying tie – and tickets are still available.

England women, featuring Commonwealth Games medallists Kelly Sibley and Tin-Tin Ho, will be taking on Slovenia at Medway Park on Tuesday November 22^nd (6pm).

With only one place separating the two teams in the world rankings, and with both having been beaten by Olympic silver medallists Germany in their first group matches, the tie will go a long way to deciding both countries’ qualifying fate.

Table Tennis England event director Neil McGuigan said: “Medway Park has a good track record of hosting national and international events and is an ideal venue for table tennis.

“The venue and Medway Council have been very welcoming and are determined to help us deliver a fantastic event. We can’t wait!”
