Gillingham defender Max Ehmer has signed a new contract at the club.
Ehmer, 31, recently made his 350th appearance for the Football Club and manager Neil Harris revealed on Thursday that a new deal for the defender was a possiiblity, and terms have been agreed prior to the visit of Stockport County on Saturday.
The former Queens Park Rangers man first joined the Gills on loan in November of 2014 and, having extended that deal until the end of the season, he signed a three-year deal in the summer of 2015.
He remained with the club until the middle of 2020, agreeing a deal with Bristol Rovers before returnining to ME7 12 months later on a two-year contract.
In his 350 games he has scored 17 times for Gills, the last of which coming against AFC Wimbledon at ME7 in February.
On signing his new deal, Max said: “I am delighted to have signed a new contract. I feel at home here, I very much enjoy playing for the club, I have a great relationship with the fans and I will continue to give my very best to achieve our collective goals.”
