This Saturday’s league visit to Chippenham Town for Ebbsfleet United has been postponed due to Covid cases in the home club camp.

A statement on Chippenham’s website reads: “We regret to announce that because of current Covid events within CTFC, our game with Ebbsfleet United this coming weekend has been postponed.”

Tickets purchased online for this game can be refunded by emailing [email protected] or contacting the club’s Ticket Tailor website.

As soon as the two clubs have agreed a new date for the game, Ebbsfleet United will of course let their supporters know the details.

This is the latest in a number of non league games called off already this season with Dover Athletic’s game against Solihull Moors in the National League called off due to Covid cases within the Kent club.

Meanwhile, Bromley have been forced to postpone their opening league clash of the season against Grimsby Town after the visitors to Hayes Lane were also found to have Covid cases among their squad.
