The Invicta Dynamos will go into Sunday night’s game against Milton Keynes Thunder knowing nothing less than a win will do.Callum Fowler9

After the superb comeback against league leaders Wightlink Raiders last Sunday, the Dynamos go into their only game of this weekend knowing they have to secure two more points to keep their title hopes alive.

Wightlink maintained their league lead with a 5-1 win over Streatham Redskins on Saturday night, whilst second placed Chelmsford Chieftains crushed Cardiff NIHL Devils 8-0.

The Dynamos go into this weekend’s game four points behind Wightlink, having played two games less, whilst Chelmsford sit in pole position as they sit just the one point behind the leaders with three games in hand.

Whatever the league situation, the Dynamos go into the Thunder game in red hot form after securing four points last weekend and they’ll be looking for a morale boosting win at the Silver Blades Ice Bowl in Gillingham.

For Head Coach Kevin Parrish, this game is one he wants his side to approach with caution, but knows they have to win:

“We won’t be taking Milton Keynes lightly, but we know on our day we have to be beating sides like this if we want to be up there pushing for the league.”

“The fans play a huge part and the Dynamos fans are the best in the league. If they’re on song, they really get behind the players and we want more of that on Sunday night.”

Face off is at 5:15pm on Sunday and fans are urged to get to the rink early to avoid the queues.
