The Invicta Dynamos will be looking to start what could be a four point weekend with a win against Cardiff NIHL Devils tonight.Invicta Dynamos game

After a great start to the season for Kevin Parrish’s side and on the back of a battling 3-3 draw against Chelmsford Chieftains last time out, the Dynamos will go into the game full of confidence.

Unusually, the Dynamos are at home on a Saturday night, with a trip to Solent & Gosport to come on Sunday evening.

With record points scorer Andy Smith now back amongst the ranks, the Dynamos are looking to be a real force this season and will be looking to challenge for the title come the end of the season after bringing in nine new faces over the summer.

Imports Jakub Klima and Juraj Huska have complimented the likes of Ryan Giles, Danny Hammond and Alan Lack who have come into the club and given the Dynamos a real cutting edge.Danny Hammond4

For Parrish, anything less than a four point this weekend would be seen as a failure, but he believes his side are more than up for securing two wins in two days:

“It’s going to be tough and I think Cardiff are going through a bit of a transitional period. They are missing a couple of guys this year and they will be missing Scarborough.”

“Another big miss for them is Fisher, but they have got a good set up and no one can be taken lightly this year.”

“We can’t have an off night and Gosport ran us close a few weeks ago. We have got to look at Saturday first and then worry about Sunday after that.”Callum Fowler8

For forward Callum Fowler, the two games give the Dynamos a real chance to show the rest of the league how far they have come in recent weeks:

“It’s more of a must than a want. Personally I wouldn’t be happy with anything less than the four points and I know the team feel the same, so it’s a big weekend ahead.”

Face off at the Silver Blades Ice Bowl in Gillingham is 5:15pm tonight with ticket information available at www.invictadynamos.co.uk
