The Invicta Dynamos play their last pre-season game tonight as they entertain EPL’s Peterborough Phantoms in Gillingham.
Fans could be in for a real treat as Kevin Parrish’s side go head to head once again with the side they faced on Saturday night.
That ended up 7-4 to the Phantoms, but was by no means flattering to the home side who fielded four imports, with the Dynamos only having Jakub Klima at their disposal.
The Dynamos were to trail 2-1 at the end of the first period with Ryan Giles back on the scoresheet, with Arran Strawson and Callum Fowler on target in the second period, but they went into the final twenty minutes trailing 6-3.
The final period saw Klima get what proved to be a consolation in what was a good workout ahead of the new season.
Both teams will resume battle once again at the Silver Blades Ice Bowl in Gillingham on Sunday night with face off at 5:15pm.
It will be the Dynamos final pre-season fixture with the new campaign starting at home to Chelmsford Chieftains in the NIHL Southern Cup next Sunday evening.
