It’s a make or break weekend for the Invicta Dynamos as they look to keep their league title campaign alive.
Kevin Parrish’s side entertain the Streatham Redskins on Saturday night, looking for revenge after their shock loss in the NIHL Southern Cup semi-final a few weeks ago.
They then head to league leaders Chelmsford Chieftains on Sunday evening for the top of the table clash that could ultimately decide who takes the title.
With just four league games left to play this season and a place in the play-offs guaranteed, the Dynamos will be looking for a strong finish to the 2013/14 campaign.
For Parrish, the message is simple this weekend: “We need four points, it’s as simple as that.”
The Dynamos will most likely have to do without the services of netminder Chris Douglas and defenceman Shaun Yardley once again, but they will have a fuller roster to choose from after going to Solent & Gosport shorthanded last weekend.
It’s weekends like this that define a team and this weekend could well be the best or worst of weekends for Dynamos fans.
Face off is at 5:15pm at the Silver Blades in Gillingham on Saturday evening with a big crowd expected.
