The Invicta Dynamos welcome local rivals the Streatham Redskins to Gillingham on Sunday evening for what should be an entertaining clash.
Sitting second and third respectively in the NIHL South, the two teams are both trying to keep the heat on league leaders Chelmsford Chieftains who dropped a point on Saturday night, drawing 3-3 at the Cardiff NIHL Devils.
Chelmsford still remain firm favourites to go on and defend their league title, but both the Dynamos and Redskins will be keen to end the league season on a high with play-off positions to play for.
Fresh from not having had a game on Saturday night, both teams will come into this game looking to take the two points and it will be the first time the Dynamos have iced in Gillingham since losing 9-0 against Chelmsford.
With two victories under their belt last weekend, winning away at Oxford City Stars and Milton Keynes Thunder, the Dynamos will have recaptured some of the confidence that has seen them compete for most of the season.
Streatham will prove a stern test though, but the Dynamos go into the game having won two of the three games played between the two sides this season, with the other ending in a draw.
Next weekend sees the Dynamos face Wightlink Raiders in the two legged NIHL Southern Cup semi-final and there will be no better way for Kevin Parrish’s side to go into those games than with a win.
