The Invicta Dynamos could have a full strength roster for this weekend’s clashes against London Raiders and Wightlink Raiders.
Kevin Parrish’s side go into their second weekend of 2016 on the back of a comfortable 7-3 victory against Bracknell Hornets last Sunday.
This weekend the Dynamos begin their two NIHL South clashes sitting second in the league and face a double dose of Raiders action.
First up, the Dynamos make the short trip on Saturday night to take on the London Raiders before returning to Gillingham on Sunday evening to take on title rivals Wightlink Raiders.
Both games present tough challenges for the Kent side and should they wish to be challenging for the league title come the end of the season, are two games they will need to win as they look to keep pace with league leaders, Chelmsford Chieftains.
Having lost just the once in their last eleven games, the Dynamos will go into both games full of confidence and should welcome back both Adam McNicoll and Bailey Wootton from injury.
The pair have both suffered knee injuries that has ruled them out for a few months, but will be eased back in gently this weekend having trained with the side over the past week.
Andy Henderson will be back available having missed last weekend, whilst twins Haydn and Taylor Wootton will be available for Saturday’s trip to London Raiders.
With so many players now at his disposal, Head Coach Kevin Parrish is hoping his side can pull off another couple of victories:
“It’s a good place to be in at the moment with so many players to choose from. I always said at the start of the season that it will be a strong and deep roster that will see us go places this season.”
“We’ve got a strong, hungry roster here now and it’s great to have the headache of having so many to choose from.”
“We’ll ease both Adam and Bailey back in gently as there are lots of games to come over the coming weeks and months.”
“The fans will play a massive part this weekend and we urge them to get right behind the side as we push for two more wins.”
After Saturday night’s game, the Dynamos are expected to be backed by a large crowd for the visit of Wightlink Raiders on Sunday evening with face off at 5:15pm.
