The Invicta Dynamos will be looking to maintain their fine league form when Oxford City Stars visit tonight.
Kevin Parrish’s side will be keen to put Thursday night’s 9-1 loss to the Chelmsford Chieftains in the South East Trophy swiftly behind them for the league encounter at Silver Blades in Gillingham.
Sitting second in the NIHL South, the Dynamos know nothing less than two wins this weekend will do.
They’ll face a resilient Oxford side first before heading to Milton Keynes on Sunday evening to take on a Thunder side that’s more than capable of causing an upset.
The good news for Dynamos fans is that both Callum Fowler and Eriks Ozollapa will be back this evening having sat out on Thursday night as they rested niggles, although the game will come too soon for Bailey Wootton who has suffered a setback having only recently returned from a knee injury.
With Adam McNicoll fighting his way back to full fitness and Joshua Condren expected to ice despite picking up another knock on his shoulder in Chelmsford, the Dynamos will be almost at full strength for this evening’s tilt.
As the season draws on and we start to get to the business end of the campaign, fans are expected to come out in their numbers for what could be another great night of ice hockey.
Face off is at 5:15pm and fans are advised to get to the rink early to avoid the queues.
