The Invicta Dynamos will look to get back to winning ways this weekend, but face two very challenging games.

Kevin Parrish’s side face Streatham Redskins away on Saturday night before entertaining London Raiders in the NIHL South league on Sunday evening.

Both games look to be tough on paper and after draws with the Cardiff NIHL Devils and Solent Devils last weekend, the Dynamos have now gone five games without a win.

The visit to Streatham looks to be the toughest of the two weekend games with the Dynamos having lost 5-0 at home to the London based side just a couple of weeks ago.

Streatham showed they were prepared to bring a very physical games to Gillingham and outmuscled a young Dynamos side on that day, but since then the Dynamos have brought in netminder Damian King and forward Steve Osman.

The last time the Dynamos and the London Raiders met, it ended up being a 4-4 draw in the NIHL Southern Cup with the Kent side having picked up the vaulable cup point in Lee Valley.

With confidence at a low going into this weekend, Head Coach Kevin Parrish wants his Dynamos side to show what they are made of:

“It’s a tough weekend for us, we have the beating of both teams, but have to stay mentally strong.”

The Dynamos go into this weekend sitting seventh in the NIHL South, some ten points behind the Streatham Redskins who are the league leaders, but have played five games less.

With Chelmsford Chieftains having dropped points with a loss at Oxford City Stars last weekend, it has shown that anyone can beat anyone in this league and four points this weekend will go a long way to lifting spirits in the Dynamos camp and keeping their title dreams alive.
