The Invicta Dynamos will be desperate to bounce back from last week’s defeat when they entertain London Raiders tonight.
Sunday evening’s loss to the Streatham Redskins in the NIHL Southern Cup semi-final hurt the Dynamos having led 9-4 at one stage, only to eventually go out on penalties after being pegged back to 9-9.
This weekend they entertain London Raiders in the last of their SouthEast Trophy group games and for Head Coach, Kevin Parrish, it is a game his side must win:
“We know that defeat can’t ruin our season. We can’t let it ruin our season.”
“This defeat could either be the ruining of our season, or the making of our season. We can’t dwell on it and have to win both games over the weekend.”
On Sunday night the Dynamos return to league action when they make the journey to face Solent & Gosport and for Parrish, if his side are to win things this year, they have got to win every remaining game:
“We probably have to win all of our games to be in with a shout of winning something this season now.”
“We know it’s going to be hard, but we have the team to be able to do it.”
“This team are capable of beating any side in the league and we have already shown that we can beat the likes of Chelmsford, but we have to get two wins this weekend and see where it takes us.”
Parrish will be without the services of netminder Chris Douglas and defenceman Shaun Yardley once again this weekend, but will hopefully have one or both back in the next week or so.
Face off at the Silver Blades Ice Bowl in Gillingham on Saturday night is 5:15pm with a big crowd expected once again for the visit of one of their local rivals.
