Kevin Parrish wants his side to play to their potential as the Invicta Dynamos look to progress in the play-offs this weekend.Invicta Dynamos game

The double header against the Cardiff NIHL Devils on Saturday and Sunday nights will see one of the two sides progress to face either the Wightlink Raiders or the Bracknell Hornets in the semi-finals.

With so much to play for, the Dynamos Head Coach knows his side will be in for a tough weekend, but believes if they play as well as they can do, they should make their way through:

“We have to play to our potential for 120 minutes. If we do, we move to the next round.”

“However, we can’t take this Cardiff team lightly.”

Parrish will be without the services of defenceman Ryan Giles for the game, but will be buoyed by the return of netminder Chris Douglas who played the last half an hour of their final league fixture of the season against Bracknell Hornets.

Defenceman Shaun Yardley has also missed a number of weeks after suffering concussion, but could well come back into contention.

With no silverware for the Dynamos so far this season, the play-offs represent the Kent side’s final chance to come away with something from what has been an entertaining campaign.

They head to Cardiff for the 1st leg on Saturday night before returning to Kent for the second tie in 24 hours with a big crowd expected at the Silver Blades Ice Bowl in Gillingham with face off at 5:15pm.
