The Invicta Dynamos will look to make it another four point weekend and maintain their current unbeaten record.
Kevin Parrish’s roster made it four games without defeat last weekend with victories over the Streatham Redskins and London Raiders, taking them up to fifth place in the NIHL South.
A sense of confidence seems to be flowing through the side once again after a difficult few weeks for the Dynamos and last weekend they showed that if they cold string some results together, they could be serious title contenders.
The addition of both Damian King and Steve Osman appear to have made a real difference to what was an inexperienced side and the pair have already made a huge impact since coming in a few weeks ago.
The Dynamos begin this weekend with a trip to Oxford to take on Osman’s former side, the City Stars, before returning to Gillingham on Sunday night where King will go face to face with his former employers, Milton Keynes Thunder.
Both games should be winnable for the Dynamos and should they wish to mount a title challenge, they need another four points and that point isn’t lost on Head Coach, Kevin Parrish:
“Consistency is key for us after a four point weekend.”
That’s one thing this Dynamos side have been striving for all season and they will be hoping that captain Nicky Lewis will be available after missing last Sunday’s game with a slight hamstring niggle.
Face off on Sunday is 5:15pm with a decent crowd expected to come to see this new look Dynamos side.
