The Invicta Dynamos will look to stretch their unbeaten start to the season when London Raiders visit on Sunday night.

Having won 2-0 at Chelmsford Chieftains in the NIHL Southern Cup last Saturday night, the Dynamos got their NIHL South league campaign off to the perfect start with an 11-0 thrashing of Bracknell Hornets at the Silver Blades in Gillingham just twenty four hours later.

Backed by their vociferous fans and with five new faces on the roster, the Dynamos look like they could well be the team to challenge this season, but it will count for nothing if they don’t pick up two more cup points when their local rivals come to Medway on Sunday evening.

With it being their only fixture of the weekend, the Dynamos can rest up for the visit of the Raiders, but will once again be without the services of forward Steve Osman who suffered a wrist injury at Chelmsford.

Fellow forward Mason Webster was given some ice time against Bracknell after sustaining a rib injury the night before, but is expected to be back amongst the squad for the visit of his former side.

The game will see former Mos forward Jacob Ranson back to face his former side, whilst the likes of Bailey Wootton and Joshua Condren will be keen to impress for Invicta against their former employers.

Having seen his side get off to the dream start with two wins in two games, Head Coach Kevin Parrish wants his side to extend their unbeaten run, but doesn’t want the Dynamos to get too far ahead of themselves:

“I’d rather play Saturday, Sunday, but that’s the way the fixtures are. They are going to be a totally different team, Ranson is there, Kamil Kinkor is there, Julian Smith is there, so they are not a bad team at all.”

“They’re going to be a good strong, tough team, so we’ve got to fight, battle and play our game. If we play our game we’ll be fine, but if we come off our game, then that’s when we’re going to struggle.”

“We can’t get ahead of ourselves and we need to stay grounded.”

With thirteen goals scored and none conceded in their opening two games of the season, the Dynamos fans will be hoping the side can put on another entertaining show on Sunday night with face off at 5:15pm.
