Dynamos look to extend league form

It’s all about the win and staying unbeaten in the league for Kevin Parrish and the Invicta Dynamos this weekend.

The Kent side have just the one fixture this weekend as they face league leaders Streatham Redskins in Gillingham on Sunday night.

Having won their opening three league games this season, the Dynamos will go into the game full of confidence, but will face a Redskins side that have started the season well themselves.

Streatham have won seven of their opening nine games in the NIHL South to sit clear at the top of the table and only a few weeks ago the two sides came head to head in the NIHL Southern Cup with the Dynamos coming from behind to win 4-3.

In what is expected to be another close game, the message is clear from Head Coach, Kevin Parrish, who wants his side to maintain their league form:

“We need to stay mentally strong this Sunday and concentrate on the 60 minutes.”

The new look Dynamos side have already shown this season that they will be more than a match on their day and this weekend could be a real test with the Kent side set to go into the game with Steve Nightingale in goal following Mark McGill’s departure.

Kevin Parrish has lined up a replacement for McGill, but he won’t be available until the following weekend.

Adam McNicoll will once again be missing after sustaining a knee injury a few weeks ago, although Josh Condren could well return after sustaining a knock last weekend in the 4-4 draw with London Raiders in the South East Trophy.

Sunday night’s game starts at 5:15pm with a big crowd expected for the half term clash.
