The Invicta Dynamos will initially compete on two fronts in the 2013/14 campaign after the release of the NIHL South Division 1 and NIHL Southern Cup fixtures.

The team’s hunt for silverware will begin on home ice against the Chelmsford Chieftains on Sunday 15th September, but will begin their campaign with a double date against the Peterborough Phantoms after agreeing to a pair of pre-season challenge games against the EPL outfit in early September.

The first meeting will take place in Peterborough on Saturday 7th before the Phantoms then journey to Kent for the second match-up on Sunday 8th.

NIHL South Division 1

The league format remains the same as in 2012/13 with nine teams competing on a two at home and two away basis for a 32 game campaign. Despite speculation over the future of a number of clubs over the summer, the NIHL South Division 1 will still include the Bracknell Hornets, Cardiff NIHL Devils, Chelmsford Chieftains, London Raiders (formerly Romford), Milton Keynes Thunder, Solent & Gosport Devils, Streatham Redskins and Wightlink Raiders.

NIHL Southern Playoffs

As in 2012/13, the top eight placed teams will progress to the playoffs where sides will then be drawn against each other based on their final league position. The playoffs remain in a knockout form with clubs competing over two legs for the right to progress.

NIHL Southern Cup

Four NIHL South Division 1 sides will feature in the cup competition alongside the Invicta Dynamos including the Chelmsford Chieftains, Milton Keynes Thunder, Streatham Redskins, and Wightlink Raiders. The tournament will initially assume a league format – with sides meeting on a one at home and one away basis – before the top four placed sides clash in two legged semi-finals with match-ups decided upon their final league position.
