Invicta Dynamos fans are being urged to take a teddy bear to their next home game to help support Demelza Hospice.

The Dynamos take on the Streatham Redskins at the Silver Blades Ice Bowl in Gillingham on Sunday 23rd December and fans have been asked to bring a teddy bear along and throw it onto the ice at the end of the first period.

These teddy bears will be scooped up by the players and taken to Demelza Hospice at 9am on Christmas Eve by Head Coach Kevin Parrish and two of the players.

Fans are also being asked to help another charity, Hockey Players for Kids with a bucket collection going around at the Streatham Resdkins game.

All proceeds go to hp4k.org who help support children around the world in geting involved in hundreds of hockey programmes.

There will also be a chance to win a giant teddy in the teddy bear raffle which will be presented to the winner on the night.
