The Invicta Dynamos bounced back from Saturday’s narrow defeat at Streatham with a resounding 8-3 win over Bracknell Hornets on Sunday.
Kevin Parrish’s side had a real mountain to climb on Saturday night after trailing 6-2 to Streatham after two periods of the National Ice Hockey League South fixture, but went on to battle back, narrowly losing 7-6 in the end.
However, they were back to their best when they entertained the Bracknell Hornets in the NIHL Southern Cup at the Silver Blades Ice Bowl in Gillingham on Sunday evening.
Joe Bliss, Anthony Leone and Canadian import Peter Vaisanen gave the home side a 3-1 advantage at the end of the first period with fellow Canadian Justin Noble with two and Vaisanen adding another in the second.
Noble was to add one more in the third period with Andy Smith rounding off the scoring for the Dynamos who maintained their 100% record in the cup this season.
The Dynamos are back in cup action again on Saturday night when they travel to Peterborough Islanders before moving on to face Romford Raiders in the league on Sunday evening.
