Kat Driscoll warmed up for her Olympic debut by defending her British national trampolining title in Birmingham.
Driscoll held off the challenge of Bryony Page and Laura Gallagher while Nathan Bailey won the men’s title in the absence of defending champion Luke Strong.
“I’m so happy to have retained my title and had incredible support from the crowd which is perfect preparation for the Games,” said Driscoll.
“It was definitely a special experience competing as our 2012 Olympian.
“I felt a responsibility to perform well and am very glad I was able to handle the pressure.
“It gives me great confidence going into the last few weeks of preparation as I work on the finer details of my routines,” she added.
“I’m really enjoying the build-up to the Games and the support really gives you the boost to train hard.”
Driscoll qualified for the Olympics with her top eight finish at last year’s World Championship, but there will be no male competitor.
The trampolining events will be staged at the North Greenwich Arena.
