Dover Athletic have boosted their squad by signing midfielder Agustin Battipiedi and striker Kyle Vassell.
Both players are set to make their debuts for the Whites in the Kent Senior Cup tie against Maidstone United at Sittingbourne’s ground on Wednesday night.
Argentinean midfielder Battipiedi, 22, has signed a contract until the end of the season having played eight games for Brighton last season.
Speaking about the signing of Battipiedi, Dover Manager Nicky Forster told www.doverathletic.com : “This is an exciting signing for us. Agustin was playing League One football just a few months ago.
“I’ve seen him play a few times for Brighton and have been impressed. He will increase the competition for places in our midfield.”
Kyle Vassell, 20, was a first year professional at Brentford last year. Forster rates the talented forward, who can play up front or on the wing.
Forster said: “Kyle has been signed on a non-contract basis at the moment, but hopefully he will show what he can do and stay here for longer than the trial period.”
