After back to back defeats against Maidenhead United and Peterborough, Dover are back in action this afternoon when they welcome Boreham Wood to Crabble.
Last time out, Dover were convincingly beaten 3-0 by League One Peterborough, ending their FA Cup journey for another season, but now they look forward to getting back to National League action as they host The Wood.
Boreham Wood come into the game unbeaten since a 2-0 defeat to AFC Fylde at the end of October, winning two and drawing four since then, meanwhile Dover’s defeat against Maidenhead ended a run of five games unbeaten for Whites in all competitions.
Boreham Wood sit in ninth place in the National League, four places above Dover, however only two points separate them which means a win for Whites would see them leapfrog their opponents in the table.
The home side will be looking to make amends from the reverse fixture at Meadow Park when a brace from Kabongo Tshimanaga helped his side secure all three points in a 3-1 victory.
Tshimanaga is the Boreham Wood player to look out for, with 12 goals in the league so far this season, whilst Dover will hope Inih Effiong can add to his 10 league goals.
