Dover Athletic return to Crabble this weekend as they host Aldershot Town in the Vanarama National League.
Last time out, Dover travelled to playoff contenders Notts County and earned a point in a well contested scoreless draw and will now look forward to Saturday as they look to make it three games in a row without a defeat.
Dover will welcome back Shots goalkeeper Mitch Walker who joined the Hampshire club back in the summer after spending seven years at Crabble, from 2012-2019, where he played 160 times in the league and FA Cup for Whites, keeping 48 clean sheets.
The home team sit in 12th place with 41 points from 29 games and have drawn their last two National League games and are looking for their first league win in 2020, whereas Aldershot have picked up 38 points from 30 games and sit in 16th place and will go level with Whites if they win on Saturday.
Danny Searle’s team has won three of their last five games and will be looking to keep their good form going as they travel to Crabble looking to recreate their 4-0 demolition job in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
A goal each from Shamir Mullings, Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong, Jack Powell and Alefe Santos meant that Dover left with nothing from their trip to the Recreation Ground.
Whites will want to make up for this result on Saturday but will have to look out for players like Ethan Chislett and Mohamed Bettamer, who have scored thirteen goals between them so far this season.
