Two of Kent’s National League sides meet in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round on Saturday when Dover Athletic host Bromley at The Crabble.
Bromley go in to the game on the back of two creditable away wins, 2-0 at Maidstone and 2-1 at Gateshead, which has seen the rise up to seventh in the table taking 24 points from 15 matches.
Dover currently sit second with 28 points from 15 games having lead the league last month, they won 2-0 at Torquay on Saturday, their third consecutive win. Chris Kinnear almost rebuilt his side over the summer and the new look squad have made a very impressive start to the campaign.
When the two sides met at the same venue in August Bromley won 2-1and Neil Smith will be hoping his side can put in a similar display on Saturday defending well and catching the home side on the break, which is exactly how they won by the same score line at Gateshead last weekend.
This will be a close hard fought game between two sides well known to each other and with the incentive of a potential match against a Football League side waiting for the winner in the next round.
