Coping admirably with the switch from her 270hp W Series single-seater back to the 485hp Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car she races in the Carrera Cup, the Kent-based competitor also had to learn the circuit and contend with changeable conditions in the process.
Things were made even tougher when she lost track time during wet conditions on Friday but bounced back to make sure she set a time in qualifying on Saturday afternoon.
Avoiding dramas which befell a number of other drivers in both races on Sunday, the 21-year old kept a cool head to finish third in the Pro-Am class and seventh overall in race one before a chaotic start to the second contest.
As competitors set off on the formation lap, rain began to fall on the 2.1-mile circuit. Esmee, along with all but three drivers rushed into the pits to change to wet tyres, a decision made even more complicated as there are no two-way radios in the cars.
She emerged on to track towards the rear of the field but once again stayed calm in very difficult conditions to bring the car home third in Pro-Am, securing more valuable championship points.

Esmee and the Porsche Carrera Cup GB field now head to Oulton Park in Cheshire for rounds seven and eight of the season. Having set the fastest class time in the morning session and completing 88 laps in May’s test at the circuit, she will be hoping for a strong result.
As ever, fans can follow coverage live on ITV4 and online via ITV Hub all day on Sunday, where the second race will be shown live, with highlights of the first also broadcast.
