As the Moto2 World Championship season heads into its final stretch, Dover’s Jake Dixon heads down under looking to get back to the form he was showing in the middle part of the season.

The last few rounds have not been easy for Dixon, and he will be in Australia looking to return to the podium, following a return of three points in the last three race weekends.

Jake already knows what it is like to get on the podium at the Australian track with the team: he achieved it in 2022 by finishing third, a result that he will try to repeat this weekend to score his sixth podium of the year.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Dixon said: “We have had several races in which the final result does not reflect all the work we have done. In Japan, for example, we started from pole, but the rain spoilt our plans.

“We are travelling to Australia with the intention of leaving there on Sunday happy with how the weekend has gone and thus being able to start the last triple-header of the season on the right foot.”
