Dixon targeting fourth straight podium

As Jake Dixon heads into the remaining rounds before leaving the Aspar Team, he is targeting his fourth podium in a row at MotorLand Aragon this weekend for the latest round of the Moto2 Championship.

Dixon has been in impressive form in the second half of the season with a top three at Assen, second place at the Sachsenring and a victory at his home round, and has outscored everyone else in the last six rounds. He is now just 21 points behind Sergio Garcia in the championship in seventh place going into the weekend.

Although MotorLand has yet to be a happy hunting ground for the rider from Dover, having crashed out in 2022 from fourth place he will be looking to improve on that this weekend, and bring home a fourth consecutive podium and continue being the form rider in Moto2.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Dixon said: “The weekend in Austria was an example of how, without giving up, working from the start to the finish of the GP, we can fight for great goals.

“We have four podiums in the last six races and, if we continue like this, we will be able to reach the end of the season with a chance of getting a good result.”
