Jake Dixon is back on track in Misano this weekend, and he will be looking to get back on the podium and continue his stellar run of form in the Moto2 Championship.
It is just a few weeks since they were on track at Misano, but this weekend return for the Emilia-Romagna GP. He is just 45 points behind the Championship leader and will be keen to close that gap further this weekend.
At the recent San Marino GP, the British finished fifth after a difficult weekend in which he had to fight back from fourteenth position on the grid. Dixon was satisfied with the result, but this weekend he wants more. The CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team rider will fight to score his sixth podium of the season to be able to fully enter into the title fight.
Speaking ahead of the weekend, Dixon said: “Last weekend in Misano we reached a fifth position that felt like a victory for us on a track where we had not achieved great results previously, and we did it starting from the fifth row.
“We have to make a step forward on Saturday to make our job easier on Sunday.”
