Jake Dixon gets his 2025 Moto2 season underway this weekend as he looks to target the title this season with his new team the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team.

He has enjoyed two good pre-season tests as he got used to the new Boscoscuro chasis, with him being the fastest rider in the team and he will be looking to secure a debut podium as they head to Buriram this weekend. Last season he finished seventh when he was last on track in October in Thailand.

Speaking ahead of his debut weekend for the Marc VDS team, Dixon said: “It’s always a special feeling to be starting a new season and it feels even more so this year because I’m making my competitive debut with the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team.

“It’s cool to start in Thailand as well because the fans in this part of the world are so passionate. It has been a winter of learning and adapting for all of us with the change to the Boscoscuro chassis and I’m satisfied with the progress we made.

“I’ve no doubt we have a lot more potential to unlock from this package and we just need time and experience. It looks like the weather is going to be incredibly hot this weekend, but I feel in great shape physically and I can’t wait start this new challenge.”
