Jake Dixon and Wayne Ryan have been announced as part of a three strong line-up for Tsingtao MV Agusta for the 2016 season.
Jake Dixon will once again compete in the British Supersport Championship for 2016 alongside Joe Collier, whilst Ryan will be back in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 series targeting the title in the coming season.
For Dixon it means another season in a series in which he excelled during 2015, finishing third in class and four wins and nine podiums. He will be hoping that the move to the Italian Manufacturer who also run Kent’s Leon Camier in the World Superbikes will prove a fruitful partnership, which leads to him fighting for the title.
Giving his thoughts on making the move to Tsingtao Racing, Jake said: Dixon said: “It’s been a good year for me in British Supersport, multiple race wins and podiums have showcased my ability, fortunately for me that ability has caught the eyes of many. I’m delighted to be joining MV Agusta racing, such an iconic brand and hope to be able to emulate the successes of our WSS team-mates. 2016 will be a massive adventure and one that I’m certain will bring success, I just wish it began tomorrow!”
Ryan who is also remaining in a series that he made his debut in last season, and hoping that he can spearhead a title run in 2016, having secured his podium at Thruxton in 2015.
Speaking about the opportunity, Ryan said: “I’m really happy to be signed already before Christmas so big thanks to Dave Tyson for giving me this opportunity. I thought 2015 was going to be my last season racing, which would have been a shame after getting on the podium and running towards the front at the end of the year. I’m confident that we have the right equipment and team around us to be fighting for the podium week in week out in 2016.”
