Kent Cricket have confirmed that 17-year-old Kent Cricket Academy player, Jaydn Denly, has been added to Kent Spitfires’ Metro Bank One Day Cup squad.
Nephew of Kent and England batter Joe Denly, left-handed all-rounder Jaydn will join up with the first-team squad for their trip to the Kia Oval to face Surrey tomorrow.
Kent’s Director of Cricket, Paul Downton, said: “This is an exciting opportunity for Jaydn to gain first-hand experience of being in a competitive first team cricket environment.
“He is a talented young cricketer who will relish being part of the squad for the remainder of the group stage.”
