Herne Bay Football Club have announced the appointment of Sam Denly as their new Club Manager.

Denly has been appointed as manager along with Head Coach Neil Brown and Assistant Gavin Theze after Simon Halsey’s departure a few weeks ago.

Trevor Kennett, Club Chairman said “I am very pleased that Sam, Neil and Gavin have agreed to lead our first team in our second season in the Ryman League.”

“I am really excited about next season, Sam is a leader, a great communicator and a winner. Neil and Gavin are also winners and greatly experienced so in my mind it is a fantastic combination.”

Sam Denly said of his appointment said “I am obviously delighted to be appointed as Manager of such a great club, for me it is all about professionalism, discipline, hard work, passion and football being played in the right way and a group of players enjoying playing for the club and the passion of that shirt”.
