Charlton announced on Friday morning, that the match at The Valley against Bolton Wanderers has been brought forward by 24 hours, from Saturday 19 April to Good Friday 18 April. The kick-off will still be at 3.00pm.
The move will give the Addicks an extra day’s rest before the Easter Monday game against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough. With the games coming thick and fast, and Charlton having to play three more games than most of their rivals, bringing the Bolton forward makes a lot of sense.
Games played on the weekend on 12 April will kick-off at 3.07pm as 15 April will be the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster which claimed the lives of 96 fans.
The Addicks will be playing against Brighton at the Amex on that day.
Young central defender, Kevin Feely, has joined Newport County on loan for the rest of the season.
