Dartford had the walk in the Princes Park as they overcame Bath City to continue their unbeaten run to eleven games & also go into the Play off places.
Dartford started the day just outside the playoffs but their wonderful unbeaten run continued as they brushed aside a bad Bath side. It nearly started badly for Dartford as in the 4th minute Ryan Hayes back pass forced Deren Ibrahim under pressure to kick clear but it went straight to Eliot Richards who from 35 yards out tried his luck but his shot went out for a throw in.
A minute later Dartford nearly scored when a ball into the area found Elliot Bradbrook but his shot was deflected away for a corner. Dartford took the lead in the 17th minute when a back pass from Dan Bowman was short & Andy Pugh latched onto it & went into the area before shooting past Steve Phillips.
The game went quiet for a while with Dartford only looking like playing in second gear & Bath not having any punch up front to cause problems.
In the 35th minute it was two & game over as a Tom Wynter free kick into the area was headed back by Elliot Bradbrook into the path of Pugh who volleyed home from 8 yards. Half time arrived & you could only see one winner in this contest.
The first half chance of the half came in the 53rd minute when Hayes on the right cut in & his cross was cleared but only to Mark Onyemah but his shot from 25 yards flew over the bar, another chance came four minutes later when a free kick into the area was half cleared & came back into the area for Callum McNaughton who turned quickly & stabbed his shot goal wards only for Phillips to save easily.
Bath finally had a chance in the 59th minute when Andy Watkins on the right came inside & passed to Ben Adelsbury & his shot from 25 yards was easily saved by Ibrahim. Dartford got their third goal a minute later when Onyemah on the left crossed into the area where Hayes appeared & his shot hit the back of the net from 8 yards.
In the 77th minute Bath nearly got a consolation goal when David Pratt crossed to the back post where Andy Gallinagh ghosted in but under pressure he shot over the bar. Another chance to increase the lead came in the 79th minute when Jack Simmons through ball found Hayes who cut inside & shot only for Phillips to save with his legs.
In the 82nd minute Bath did get a consolation goal when Watkins 25 yards out went on a mazy run into the area but the ball was deflected into the path of Pratt who shot home from 8 yards.
Dartford had the last word when in the 87th minute a corner hit under the crossbar saw McNaughton head into an empty net.
